Our Story

My wife and I have always believed in doing the right thing — even when it’s the hardest thing to do. We are a married couple trying to rebuild our lives after experiencing a devastating series of violations that have left us emotionally, financially, and physically broken.
Our dream was simple: to live sustainably on the road, in an RV we had been saving for, while I — who is 100% disabled and receiving Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) — supported my wife as she transitioned from her 9–5 job to starting her own small business. We had saved carefully for this goal, with a year’s worth of food and supplies ready to start a new chapter.
Then, everything fell apart.
What Happened to Us
Over the past year, our lives have been turned upside down by:
Hacking and Cyber Intrusion — Our entire household network and devices were compromised. Our financial accounts were accessed, our security systems disabled, and personal data stolen.
Burglary and Vandalism — Our apartment was broken into, security cameras destroyed, and our sense of safety shattered.
Illegal Eviction — Despite our rights as tenants, we were forced out unlawfully, losing not only our home but much of what little stability we had left.
Impersonation and Fraud — A person posing as a Social Security investigator contacted us, resulting in SSDI account disruptions and fraudulent activity with our income.
Medical Neglect — Inconsistent treatment and medication errors at hospitals worsened both our mental and physical health.
Criminal Charges While Disabled — During a period of being mis-medicated and mentally confused, I was charged with a crime related to possession of a stolen vehicle — something I did not knowingly commit.
(This is a brief timeline of the detailed timeline with dates, events, reports and those who fell short in helping us below. The detailed timeline will be made available upon professional request)
A Story of Exploitation and Survival
This is also a story about how vulnerable people are exploited, especially those living with disabilities.
When systems fail — when agencies are underfunded, when medical professionals overlook the disabled, and when hackers and opportunists target the most defenseless — people like us become victims of exploitation and neglect.
As victims, we face an uphill battle for justice and understanding. We’ve done everything right: reported crimes, followed legal channels, sought mental health care, and cooperated with investigators — only to be met with silence, delays, or disbelief. Every step forward feels like climbing a mountain without support.
Our Current Situation
I live with PTSD, ADHD, Agoraphobia, Bipolar NOS, and severe anxiety disorders — all recognized under SSDI. My physical health is also declining, and my wife has been hospitalized multiple times due to mental health crises, diabetes, and other medical complications caused by ongoing stress and instability.
Our public defender has admitted she has never represented a client with disabilities before, and is unfamiliar with how to handle ADA accommodations like remote court access — something I rely on due to PTSD and Agoraphobia. Despite our requests and medical documentation, I’m being asked to appear in person, which directly violates my rights to reasonable accommodation.
We continue to experience ongoing hacking, eavesdropping, and privacy invasions, while trying to survive with almost no resources left.
What We’re Asking For
We are urgently seeking:
1. A Pro Bono Civil Rights & Criminal Defense Attorney specializing in representing disabled persons
– Experienced with disability rights, ADA violations, and cases involving trauma survivor.
– Compassionate and ready to stand up for those who’ve been ignored or mistreated by the system.
2. Financial Support for Immediate Needs
– Emergency housing and utilities.
– Legal documentation, filing, and case preparation.
– Replacing stolen equipment and securing communication.
– Transportation, medication, and basic necessities.
Why This Matters
Our story isn’t just about what happened to us — it’s about how easily the vulnerable can be exploited when systems fail to protect them.
We are not asking for pity — we are asking for a fair chance to defend ourselves, rebuild our lives, and ensure that no one else endures what we have. We saved to transition on our terms to a new chapter of being on the road across the country full-time in an RV. Please don’t allow our sacrifice in saving and raising our credit scores to enter the next chapter in life.
We’ve reported every violation to every agency we could — but with funding cuts, backlogs, and indifference, justice moves slowly while victims like us continue to suffer.
We are fighting for dignity, safety, and truth.
